Special attention should be paid to caged chickens in summer, as summer is a season of high parasites. The most feared of the flock is the parasite, so the summer must be more centered than the usual season. As long as you take care of the flock in the summer, you will be able to increase your egg production in the fall.

First of all, in summer cage culture, the chickens should pay special attention to the management of temperature. Adult flocks and young flocks are best cultivated separately, and the temperature of the house in adult flocks is controlled at 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. The temperature of young flocks is controlled at 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. If the temperature in the chicken house is too high, the chickens will have symptoms of heat stroke because the chickens have so many feathers and they do not have the function of wicking. Secondly, we must observe the temperature of the chicken house. In the daytime, we can use things to block the top of the greenhouse, because it can effectively avoid the indoor temperature is too high. Or when it is hot at noon, spray a small amount of cold water in the chicken house, which can also reduce the temperature in the room.

2. It is necessary to reasonably control the density of the chickens in thechicken battery cages. Normally, the cage raises chickens in about 30 layers per layer. This amount should be reduced in summer. Control about fifteen on each floor. If the weather turns cold at night, you can put more on each floor.

3. Feeding management. Feeding flocks during the summer should avoid overheating. Such as: 10 to 12 in the morning and 1: to 3 in the afternoon. Because the temperature during these two periods is the highest, it is not appropriate to feed the feed during this time period. You can choose to be at 7 in the morning or at 8 in the evening. Because the temperature of these two time periods is low after all, and the feed is best exposed to the sun, which can effectively reduce some viruses and parasites in the feed.

4. Drinking water management and disinfection of cages. The two most feared things in the summer are the parasites and enteroviruses. Because the gut of the flock is very fragile, it is also an important target for the virus to attack the flock. Therefore, the drinking water of the summer flock must be clean enough. It is best to use a flowing water source. The standard of water quality should be close to the standard of drinking water. After all, if the chickens in the summer are diarrhea, it is very difficult to handle.

Second, the chicken cages are disinfected, whenever the flocks come out for food. It is possible to spray a large area of the drug in the cage, which can play a role in disinfection and prevention. It is best to keep the disinfection cage at least twice a week during the summer. And after each disinfection, if conditions permit, you can also clean thepoultry battery cageswith water. After cleaning, use a blow dryer to dry the cage. This kind of disinfected cleaning cage is undoubtedly the favorite growing environment for the flock.
