As the main body of the breeding equipment, the chicken cage is a very key component. The chicken cage is in direct contact with the chicken, and the material is very important. At present, the chicken cages are divided intohot-dip galvanized chicken battery cages, aluminum-zinc alloy chicken cages and cold galvanized chicken cages according to their materials. The following author introduces the difference between various materials:

1. Hot-dip galvanized chicken cage

The hot-dip galvanized chicken cage is welded with cold drawn wire and then processed by the hot-dip galvanizing process. The craftsmanship of this kind of chicken coop is complicated, it is also corrosion-resistant, and of course the price is the highest. Hot-dip galvanizing is also called hot-dip galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing: it is an effective method of metal anti-corrosion, mainly used in metal structure facilities in various industries. The rust-removed steel parts are immersed in a molten zinc solution at about 500°C to attach a zinc layer to the surface of the steel parts to achieve the purpose of corrosion protection. The chicken cage after hot-dip galvanizing has the best corrosion resistance and will not rust after decades of use.

Automatic battery hens have been implemented in more and more countries.

2. Aluminum-zinc alloy chicken cage

Aluminum-zinc alloy chicken coop is a chicken coop made of aluminum-zinc alloy wire. Galvalume wire is composed of aluminum-zinc alloy structure, composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 2% silicon solidified at a high temperature of 600℃. The whole structure is composed of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc, forming an alloy of dense quaternary crystals. This kind of chicken coop process is a little different from the other two, this is the plated wire before welding. The solder joints will turn black after welding, and the good solder joints will not rust, and the welding requirements are relatively high. This process is simpler than hot-dip galvanizing, so the price is slightly cheaper than hot-dip galvanizing. But it is rarely used and generally not as a promotion.

3. Cold galvanized chicken coop

The cold galvanized chicken cage is also welded with cold drawn wire and then processed by electroplating. This kind of galvanized surface has a very thin zinc layer and poor corrosion resistance. Electroplating is the process of plating a thin layer of other metals or alloys on the surface of some metals using the principle of electrolysis. It is the process of using electrolysis to attach a layer of metal film to the surface of metal or other materials to prevent metal oxidation. This process is the simplest and the price is the cheapest.

So in terms of service life, hot-dip galvanized chicken cage > galvanized steel wire chicken cage > cold galvanized chicken cage. Ranked from high to low prices, it is also hot-dip galvanized chicken cage >galvanized steel wire chicken cage >cold galvanized chicken cage. So when youbuy chicken battery cages system, you must make a clear distinction and don’t confuse unscrupulous merchants.
