1. The nutrition is not enough. If the vitamins and minerals in the chicken feed, especially the deficiency of calcium and phosphorus, will cause the eggshell to turn white, it is necessary to pay attention to the supplement of various nutrients in the process of feeding the laying hens to promote the metabolism of calcium, thereby improving the egg. The quality of the shell improves its color.

2. In the summer, the temperature is relatively high. In order to accelerate the excretion and heat dissipation, the flock will drink a lot of water, and the feed intake will decrease, resulting in insufficient nutrient intake. As a result, the eggshell quality will be affected and the chicken will produce white shell eggs. A sudden drop in temperature during the fall and winter will cause cold stress in the flock, affecting the calcium and phosphorus metabolism of the chicken, and also cause the eggshell to become lighter in color.

3. Chickens’ epidemic prevention, transfer groups and other external disturbances will have a stress on the chickens, resulting in a decrease in egg production rate and a lighter eggshell color. However, this situation will be compensated for the duration. If the environment is improved in time, the drinking water will increase the multi-dimensional electrolysis, and the white egg shell phenomenon will disappear quickly.

4. The laying time of the laying hen should be constant during the laying of the egg. If the light is insufficient or unstable or irregular, the chicken will produce white shell eggs. If artificial light is applied, it should be stable, and scientific feed nutrition should be prepared to ensure excellent eggshell color.

5. Ageing of laying hens can also cause whitening of eggshells. Farmers can increase their nutritional drugs to improve this situation, but the maintenance time is not long. For this old chicken, it should be eliminated according to market conditions.
